The Black Blob

FEATURED CASE STUDY

“Very quick treatment, no problems with aftercare. Looking forward to covering up this area with upgraded artwork.”

Expectation

This tattoo was part of a larger concept, but as more artwork surrounded it, the idea became difficult to see.

The black blob is a tough thing to work around. It’s front and center on prime upper arm canvas space and being so large and dark would require an even larger and darker tattoo to cover it up.

The solution is to target the black in and partially fade the blob to an ideal value. This will offer more artistic options for tattoo cover ups. Several treatments will be required.

Result

Excellent reaction and healing, well on our way to optimum fading. Only one treatment in and boasting visible pigment clearance.

*UPDATE*
Three treatments in now and there is definitely fading happening. Most dark tattoos require fading for a cover up tattoo. Fading for cover ups typically takes 3-5 treatments to reach and ideal level.
